Meet The Team
Loren Stowe
Loren brings Falcon Pursuit his experience of activating and directing million-dollar budgets, and bridging product development teams from concept to prototype to market ready products. Loren has a Mechanical Engineering background and a diverse range of experience gained through projects completed with TaylorMade, Schutt Sports, and VTTI (Virginia Tech Transportation Institute) as the Advanced Automated Senior Research Associate.
Prior to VTTI, Loren was the director of TaylorMade’s research team, and his work included ball flight analytics, MAT-T (Motion Analysis Technology by TaylorMade) and nationally recognized MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical System) hardware for inside the club accelerometers and gyro real time tracking systems. At Schutt Sports, Loren led the hardware team in developing the head measuring system for the UR1-F7 helmet, a program that 3D maps an athlete’s head for a fully customized fit which is used with NFL and NCAA teams throughout the country.
Brian Windell
Brian brings over 28 years of design, manufacturing and leadership experience to Falcon Pursuit. He has formed and led several companies and has worked with some of the top brands and manufacturers in the world. Under his leadership he has developed and produced countless displays, environments and equipment for TaylorMade Golf, Microsoft, Bose, Nike and many more. He ran companies in England and has placed projects on every continent globally.
Dana Marquez
Dana is known for his 35+ years of dedication to innovation and athletes’ safety. He is the first ever recipient of the Maxwell Award for Innovation in Safety, and the founder of HelmetFitting.com. His projects include designing Russell Athletics’ Carbon Tek Football Shoulder Pads, joining forces with top manufacturers to offer an on-line course on how to properly fit football equipment for athletes of all ages, providing the Shema97 mask to United States citizens during Covid, and collaborating with Falcon Pursuit to create the first ever Falcon Pursuit Lab. Dana has been the Assistant Equipment Manager at Oregon State University, Director of Equipment Operations for the University of California-Berkeley, Promotions Manager for Schutt Sports Group and the Associate Athletic Director Equipment Operations at Auburn University.
Craig Barez
Award-winning global designer, Craig Barez, brings 30+ years of design, product design and creative intuition experience to Falcon Pursuit. He graduated summa cum laude from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and has worked with such industry leaders as NIKE Inc., TaylorMade-adidas Golf, and The HIVE Collective. While at NIKE Inc., Craig worked as Design Director for Corporate Image Design, Equipment Design and Nike Golf where he created the global brand identity for golfing legend, Tiger Woods. Following NIKE Inc., Craig worked as the Global Creative Director for TaylorMade-adidas Golf where he oversaw all product strategy, product design and development. Today, Craig applies his innovative insights and learnings to brands both large and small while running his own business The HIVE Collective.
Liz Marquez
Liz comes to Falcon Pursuit with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Public Relations and the unique skill set of an educator and business owner. After 19 years as a schoolteacher, Liz joined forces with Dana to create HelmetFitting.com, an eLearning course designed to optimize athletes’ safety by educating the masses on how to properly fit football equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. Liz’s work with HelmetFitting.com led to writing the fitting guidelines for all youth sports associated with Alabama’s Coach Safely program and Coach Safety Act in addition to fitting guidelines for LIGHT Helmets and GameBreaker Helmets. During Covid, Liz’s role shifted to overseeing the sales and distribution of Shema97 masks. Today, Liz works hand-in-hand with the Falcon Pursuit team in marketing and sales support.
Jay White
Jay’s expansive engineering career in 3D scanning and motion capturing analysis encompasses 14 US patents, over 38 foreign patents and projects adopted by such industry leaders as FILA, TaylorMade, Adidas, and more. He is the specialist in electronic analysis of complex shapes and rapid movements for tailored product designs who created the Falcon Pursuit Athlete-AvatarTM. And did we mention? Jay was a triathlete, skier and mountain climber. He has climbed the highest peaks on five of seven continents including Everest.
